Scedosporium prolificans, microscopy
The species is characterized by flask-shaped conidiophores with a slender, elongated tip.
Conidiophores arise singly and directly from hyphae. But more often,
two or more do from a vase-shaped side branch or their short chain,
looking like the conidiogenous apparatus in Penicillium.
本菌種は長く伸びた先端を持つフラスコ形の分生子柄が特徴的である.
分生子柄は菌糸から直接単生するが,しかし,しばしば2あるいはそれ以上が
花瓶形の側枝や,側枝の短連鎖がら生じ,ペニシリウム属の分生子形成装置に似る.
