Penicillium marneffei, microscopy

Penicilli are biverticillate and divergent. Metulae are thick and arising
from the apex of conidiophores and directly under the apical region.
Phialides are ampulliform and tapering abruptly to a narrow conidium-bearing tip.

箒状体は2輪生,散開生.メツラは太く,分生子柄の先端と直下の側壁から起こる.
フィアライドはワインデカンタ形で急に先細りとなり分生子を生む先端へと移行する.
