Hortaea werneckii, SEM-3. An intermediate mode between annellidic
and sympodial conidiogenesis

Lunate bud scars alternate on the lateral wall of conidium-produdcing projections
of hyphae. These scars were left when a new conidium appeared by breacking
through a part of a previously formed bud scars.

半月状の出芽痕が菌糸の分生子形成部位側壁に交互に配列している． これら出芽痕は，
その前に残された出芽痕の一部を破戒して新たな分生子が生まれたために残された．
